Dr. RAQUEL CASTEDO guides design strategy for Iris Music Project. She is a Brazilian graphic designer and researcher based in Baltimore. She designs publications and visual identities for arts institutions, universities, and nonprofits through Raquel Castedo Studio. She is also Creative Director of BmoreArt. Castedo holds a PhD in Communication and Information, with research focused on editorial design and the book as a cultural object. Her book design for “Shabtis Gather: Jackie Milad,” a bilingual English-Arabic publication by the artist in partnership with BmoreArt, was selected as one of AIGA’s 50 Books | 50 Covers of 2025.
