REBA CORNMAN, MSW has devoted her professional and volunteer work to supporting older adults.  She was the Director of the Geriatrics and Gerontology Education and Research Program (GGEAR) at the University of Maryland Baltimore for most of her professional career.   GGEAR is a statewide interprofessional education program providing conferences and training opportunities for professionals in the field of aging, health professional students and caregivers.  In addition to her work through GGEAR, she has been a member of the Baltimore City Commission on Aging and the Guardianship Commission. Ms. Cornman continues to be involved on several non-profit boards serving low- income older adults in the Baltimore area.  She is a lifelong fan of all music and is very impressed with the Iris Music Project’s commitment to its partnership with older adults in making music an experience and partnership!
